Eight Exercises You Can Do To Reduce Back Problems And Improve Your Posture

Eight Exercises You Can Do To Reduce Back Problems And Improve Your Posture Review

If you suffer from recurring back pain when digging the garden, doing DIY tasks or similar everyday tasks, chances are you have weak back and stomach muscles. Or if you suffer from poor posture - such as being "round shouldered" - this too can cause pain in the back.

This booklet explains what's happening to cause the pain, and gives a series of eight simple exercises you can do to help improve the situation. These are not strenuous moves requiring you to 'work up a sweat', but rather gentle moves designed to stretch and slowly strengthen the muscles in the lower back and stomach. The entire routine takes about 40 minutes twice a day.

The booklet also explains how the author's own back problems started, how he followed this course at the physiotherapy department, and how he has dealt with two bouts of sciatica. It also mentions a more recent muscular problem that is also known by the medical term "psuedo-angina"

PLEASE NOTE: If your doctor has told you there are physical problems with your spine, check with them before starting on this course of exercises.
